In that case, our application "Kalendár SK" is here for you.
You can scroll through the calendar by swiping left or right. You can find the description and dates of public holidays and school holidays below the calendar or they will be displayed in a detailed view of the individual day.

You can enter a new event conveniently and quickly, just fill in the most basic information about your date.
Whether it is a wedding anniversary, a celebration or a meeting - Kalendár SK will notify you of them in a clear way.

Kalendár SK will also remind you of the name days of your loved ones. Call them directly from the app and make them happy!

You can place a small or large widget on your desktop displaying the current date and today's name days.

The widget will also remind you of an event scheduled in your calendar and notify you of your friends' name days.

The calendar also reminds you of the change of summer and winter time and the beginning of the seasons, it also displays sunrise and sunset times and moon phases.

Tips for entering events:

1. You can enter the date of your event in several ways, choose the one that suits you best:
- by tapping the plus on the top bar,
- in the detailed view of an individual day, tap the Add button
- or hold your finger on a specific day in the calendar for a longer time

2. You do not need to enter the end time of the event if you do not know it - it can simply remain the same as the start time.
In this case, only the start time will be displayed for the event - for example, "8:00 Lekár".

3. If the date of your event has changed, just move its start. The end time and the notification time will be moved automatically.

4. Selecting the main calendar:
If you also have Kalendář CZ or Kalendarz PL in version 3.1.0 or higher installed on your device,
you can choose which of the calendars will send you event notifications.

5. Required settings:
For the application to work properly, it is necessary to grant the application all necessary permissions and its background operation must not be limited.
If these necessary settings are not made, some functions of the application may not work properly; this mainly concerns updating the widget and sending notifications.

The Slovak calendar with names, public holidays and school vacations is free.
All this data will be updated for the next years free of charge when installing the following versions of the application.
Validity of data in the current version of the calendar:
Public holidays until the end of 2027, school holidays until the end of the 2026/27 school year.

The application displays advertising, in the Pro version advertising is not displayed.
