If you are keen on piano music, switch to “Clavier” channel; if you prefer the sound of the orchestra, the “Symphonic music” channel is there for you. We also have something to please both opera lovers and chamber music fans - and this is not all!

On the screen you can always see the authors’ and performers’ names, as well as the title of the piece you are listening to or have just finished listening. Press the “LIKE” button to add this information to “FAVORITES”.

You have missed your favorite program?
Now you can listen to it at any time convenient to you. Just look through our “PROGRAMS”.

Radio “Orpheus” covers classical music from academic genres to avant-garde ones, including works of composers belonging to different countries, epochs and styles. It broadcasts music from Russian and foreign concert halls, organizes interviews with outstanding musicians and other prominent figures from the world of culture, broadcasts interactive programs and news reports.

“Orpheus” is a member of European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It enables us to broadcast operas from La Scala, Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera and the other leading world theaters. In the area of classical music our radio station presents Russia in UNESCO. Our representatives participate in the jury of the International Classical Music Awards. 

Radio station “Orpheus” is part of a large musical union - Russian State Musical TV and Radio centre which incorporates several ensembles: Symphony Orchestra of  “Orpheus” radio station,  Yuri Silantiev Academic Grand Concert Orchestra, Academic Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing”, Folk Academic Choir of Traditional Russian Song and some others.
