YAMAP also supports Wear OS.
Please check the following important points before using the Wear OS version of the app.

- The Wear OS version of the app cannot be used standalone. When you start using it, you need pairing with a smartphone where the YAMAP smartphone app is installed.
- When you launch the Wear OS version of the app, please start activity using the YAMAP Smartphone app. Then, Wear OS version of the app screen will switch to the activity information screen automatically.

The following functions can be used after pairing.

- Browsing activity information like elevation and distance during trekking
- Displaying your trail on the screen


▲ Regarding the foreground service permissions
- Foreground location data
YAMAP app requires foreground location data in order to record your trajectory. Depending on the smartphone you are using, you may not be able to obtain it correctly. For more details, please check the following help page:

- Foreground screen recording
The 3D replay feature, which allows you to review your trajectory with photos, needs foreground screen recording when recording videos.
