eBike Flow

The eBike Flow app makes the riding experience on your eBike with the smart system from Bosch safer, more personalised and more comfortable. Give your eBike additional protection against theft, plan routes and use smart navigation, personalise your riding modes, customise the display and track your activities. You can also benefit from automatic updates. Make your eBike even smarter with the eBike Flow app.

Please note: The eBike Flow app is only compatible with eBikes with the Bosch smart system.

The eBike Flow app gives you a clear overview of all the information about your eBike, such as the distance travelled, current battery status or the next service appointment. This way, you always have an overview and can enjoy your next ride.

Theft protection with eBike Lock and eBike Alarm
eBike Lock and eBike Alarm are the ideal complement to the mechanical lock: eBike Lock is your free additional theft protection. Lock and unlock your eBike automatically using your phone or display as a digital key. Protect your eBike even better with the eBike Alarm premium service: with GPS tracking, notifications and alarm signals on the eBike.

Always up to date with updates over-the-air
Updates ensure that your eBike is always up to date and gets even better. You can simply download new eBike functions and transfer them to your eBike via Bluetooth.

Route planning
With the eBike Flow app, you can plan your next Tour to perfection: customise the route with map details and a route profile to suit your needs – or import existing routes from komoot or via GPX.

Navigation with phone or display
Navigate with your display or use your phone on the handlebar. No matter what you’re riding with, you have all the important riding data at a glance and can conveniently control and stop the navigation via your control unit.

Activity tracking
The eBike Flow app records your riding data as soon as you set off. In the statistics, you will find valuable insights into your tour and fitness data – to analyse and share, synchronised with Strava or Apple Health.

Riding modes perfectly customised to you.
With the eBike Flow app, you can customise the riding modes to suit you perfectly. Adapt the support, dynamics, maximum torque and maximum speed to your requirements.

Display configuration
Customise the screen layout of your Kiox 300, Kiox 500 or Purion 200 to suit your preferences. With over 30 customisation options, you decide for yourself what you see on your display while riding.

Performance redefined
The performance upgrade 2.0 enables maximum torque of up to 120 Nm and maximum motor support of 600% up to 20 mph via a free software update. Software optimizations give you more powerful propulsion and allow you to use maximum power for longer.(1-5) The maximum values available for your eBike depend on your drive unit and the approval of your eBike manufacturer.

Your achievements in detail
The annual overview in the Flow+ subscription is being expanded. You can now also analyze elevation, speed, power, cadence, riding mode usage, power share, and Trick Check data.


(1) 120 newton meters of maximum torque, deviations possible depending on shifting system. Higher performance values also mean higher wear and lower range – we leave this individual decision up to you. The eBike manufacturer can limit the maximum torque in the factory settings. In the eBike Flow app, you can then only set the maximum torque defined by the manufacturer. Available from May 4, 2026 for the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) and Cargo Line (BDU384Y). The Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y) is still supplied with the performance values 100 Nm, 750 watts, and 400% support as standard. The Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) comes with the performance values 85 Nm, 600 watts, and 340% support as standard. The Cargo Line (BDU384Y) is still supplied with the performance values 85 Nm, 600 watts, and 400% support as standard. These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding fun in relation to wear and range.

Details on the compatibility of your eBike can be found in the eBike Flow app. The drive units are supplied with max. 340% or 400% support as standard (depending on the drive unit). These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding fun in relation to wear and range.

(3) Available from May 4, 2026 in combination with DualBattery and the PowerTube 800, PowerTube 600, and PowerTube 750 eBike batteries for selected drive units of the smart system: Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), Cargo Line (BDU384Y).
