CYOU

All-in-one mobile portal to maximize contact with your loved ones while inside.
CYOU is an application anybody can download, but its use is limited to the context of corrections.
It enables friends and relatives to connect with their loved ones in correctional facilities that use Telio as a provider for communications or digital services.

Who can use it:
Friends and relatives around the globe who want to connect with someone inside.
Available only for selected enrolled institutions.
More locations will become available soon.

How it works:
Telio users can use the traditional telephony services in correctional facilities to call specific phone numbers on the outside.
By calling a phone number, Telio will facilitate, when appropriate, a redirect to the CYOU mobile application and establish a VoIP audio call or video call.
This way, users gain access to benefits facilitated by the app which are not available via traditional telephony.

Limitations:
The app supports only receiving calls, CYOU users cannot initiate calls with contacts inside. (In line with the same restrictions applied to traditional telephony).
Only inmates from selected locations will be able to establish contact with CYOU app users.
The CYOU app might not work in countries with known VoIP restrictions. In this case, calls will be redirected to traditional telephony lines.
CYOU is subject to any other restrictions applied by the correctional facilities to different Telio users and their access to Telio services.

What’s next:
More locations will be made available as institutions will get enrolled in the CYOU program.
Further improvements to enhance communication between friends, relatives and their loved ones.
