PINGMEE needs your location to find people within 25km. Your location is used for finding nearby users during searches, calculating distances for match discovery, and maintaining your position on the map.

Background Location (Optional):
Enable background location to keep your position updated when the app is not actively open. You can disable this anytime in settings.

Camera and Photos:
Take photos or select from your library to share in conversations or update your profile.

Messages use industry-standard security (TLS + encryption at rest).

HOW YOUR LOCATION IS USED:

Background location (if enabled) updates your position periodically, helps keep your location current for accurate matching, can be disabled in settings anytime, and shows notification when tracking in background.

DATA AND PRIVACY:

Location data is used for proximity matching. Message encryption protects conversation content. You control when location tracking is enabled. Block users or delete your account anytime. AI analyzes only profile data for compatibility, never your location coordinates.
