HIBC Check

The HIBC Health Industry Bar Code is an Europe wide accepted standard for the unique identification in trading but also particular in the field of laboratory and clinics.

Because its open data structure, it can be used with different barcode symbologies, for example Code 128, Code 39, Datamatrix and QR Code.
The HIBC system could store important data for product identification like manufacturer, product code, batch number, expiry date, production date, serial numbers and quantity.

HIBC check determines whether the information in the barcode comply with these regulations, compares the calculated check digit and supports you with other important information about the data in the barcode.
