📝 About this app

No more fiddling with spreadsheets and print outs at the gym. This app calculates the weights you should use, based on your one rep maxes, for a 6-week Texas Method strength cycle. The app also makes it easy to keep track of where you are in the cycle and how you've progressed from cycle to cycle.

This general purpose, 3 day per week, strength program has been used by many to add some serious weight to their bench press, shoulder press, deadlift and squat. If you're looking for a simple, yet effective lifting program, the Texas Method is likely for you.

🆕 What's New · v1.01

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.

- Dead lift will be incremented every week.
- Fixed minor bugs.

★★★☆☆ Pros and cons
Pros: Easy to use Very functional Simplifies the program Cons: Does not keep track of warm up upsets. I would suggest they should improve it by implementing 20, 25,30 lbs warm up increments. Does not allow you to change the workout…
★★★☆☆ Ok but annoying
It's a very basic app. It annoyingly seems to not save always. I can't figure out why. Sometimes I hit the checkmark, sometimes I click the workout and select done. Both ways give mixed results as far as saving goes. Pretty annoyi…

★☆☆☆☆ You dun goofed
Like others have said, the deadlift section does not progress throughout the weeks. The app will also delete data from a week after you close. Has the potential to be good, unfortunately the creators took it out the oven before it was r…
