Welcome to Solar Snap 2.0! We've completely redesigned Solar Snap in preparation for the August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse and couldn't be more excited! Here's what's new: • Complete redesign with an improved layout and more accessible controls • New: In-camera Eclipse Companion automatically displays realtime eclipse information at the top of the viewfinder. It's like having a real life astronomer by your side! • New: Fully interactive offline eclipse map running a global eclipse simulation, with detailed information to prepare you for the next eclipse, no matter where you are, even if you don't have a signal! • Expanded tutorial now includes videos showing how to build a camera filter, and how to practice at home • Added localization for French, German and Spanish We can't wait to see totality in Spain this year, hope you can make it!
