v3.4.4Current

89 MB (+2 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
Anonymous usage and crash reports now help fix problems and improve Canter. They are on by default, and you can turn them off in Settings > Privacy. They never include your routes, GPS positions or anything from Apple Health; a workout's duration and distance are sent as plain numbers. If location is off for Canter during a GPS workout, the workout screen now says so and opens Settings for you, and the route starts as soon as you allow it.

v3.4

86 MB (+1 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
New: Walking Mode. The "Walking Mode" switch in Settings turns the timer into brisk and easy walk intervals, with no running anywhere. Made for building walking time back up after illness or a long break. Walking Mode workouts save to Apple Health as walking workouts, and the switch stays in sync between iPhone and Apple Watch. Training plans keep their run and walk sessions.

v3.1

85 MB (+1 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
This update is about your history staying exactly as you left it. A finished workout now survives the app closing on the summary screen. It comes back the next time you open the app, and only once. Deleted workouts stay deleted across iPhone, Apple Watch, and iCloud. The Apple Health save status now corrects itself on both devices, including saves that land late. Deletes and corrections made on one device now appear on the other while you are still using it.

v3.0

84 MB (+5 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
Apple Watch workouts now sync to your iPhone. Finish a workout on the watch and it shows up in the iPhone app automatically, including older watch workouts that never transferred. The watch now announces every mile: a tap on your wrist, a card on the screen, and a voice cue with your split. Also new in 3.0: a Home Screen widget and a Control Center button that start a workout in one tap, an optional daily training reminder, and automatic recovery of watch workouts interrupted by a crash.

v2.9

79 MB (+0 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
Your workout history now syncs privately between iPhone and Apple Watch through iCloud. No account needed, it just works. The iPad experience is redesigned: the main timer, history, and the custom interval editors now fit the big screen properly. iPhone layouts are unchanged. Strava sharing is no longer available.

v2.7

79 MB (+1 MB) · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
This update fixes a batch of bugs to make your workouts more accurate and reliable. - Pausing now fully pauses: movement while paused no longer counts toward your intervals or your workout distance - Your custom run and walk intervals are remembered between launches - Workouts saved to Apple Health now include your GPS distance - The GPS toggle now takes effect immediately when changed during a workout - Returning to the app after a long background period no longer replays a burst of interval sounds - The Health permission request now appears at first launch instead of interrupting a workout - More accurate calorie estimates for uneven run and walk intervals - Fixes for Siri workout starts and other stability improvements

v2.6

78 MB · 5.00★ · 2 ratings
What's new in 2.6: - Imperial mode now displays short distances in feet (was yards) - Mile fractions show as decimals: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 mi - New voice cues at "100 feet" and "50 feet" remaining - Bell + haptic feedback at each imperial boundary - Custom interval picker rebuilt around a feet ladder (100 to 1000 ft)
