◇◆Types of Newspapers◆◇

- 90 days' worth of morning, evening, Saturday be, GLOBE, and other issues published by our main and branch offices in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Western (Kyushu), and Hokkaido (Premium Course, Double Course, and Corporate Membership. 14 days' worth for the Newspaper Viewer Course).

- 90 days' worth of regional issues published in prefectural capitals and some other regional issues for all prefectures (excluding Okinawa) (Premium Course, Double Course, and Corporate Membership. 7 days' worth for the Newspaper Viewer Course).

- You can also read content exclusive to the Newspaper Viewer, such as "Extra Editions" and "Extra Editions" available on non-publication days, and portions of the science magazine "Newton" (accessible booklets vary depending on your membership type).

- You can read all of the above issues regardless of your region of residence.​

[Quickly Enlarge Small Text]

Pinch or spread the screen with two fingers to zoom in or out on the page. This is useful not only for reading the main text, but also for viewing photos and charts.

Double-tap the screen with one finger to highlight only the article you touched. This allows you to focus on the article you want to read, and allows you to "Save" and "Edit Text Articles" with a single tap (not available for some editions).

[Enjoy Listening]

Premium, Double, and Corporate subscribers can use the "Text to Speech" feature. Double-tap the page to display the menu, and the Text to Speech button will appear.

Why not listen to the news when your eyes are tired or in between tasks? (Not available for some editions and membership types.)

[Choose the format you're most comfortable reading]

You can open and download the paper you want to read in advance, or turn on the "Auto-download over Wi-Fi" feature in the "Settings" screen to read the paper offline. Enjoy stress-free reading even while on the move or outdoors where connection is unstable.

You can also use the "Text Article" feature to read text horizontally. Opening a text article from the paper and returning to the paper when you're finished is an experience only possible with the paper viewer app (not available for some papers).

[Read articles you're interested in later]

If you find an article that catches your eye, try pressing the "Save" button. You can save up to 5,000 articles. You can write your reasons for saving it and your thoughts about it in "Notes" and save them along with the article.

The "Tags" feature is useful for finding saved articles later. By registering your own labels, you can attach them to saved articles, making it easier to narrow down and find them later.

Paper Viewer Course: View 14 days' worth of the main paper and 7 days' worth of local pages (save function not available).
