During testing of SongBank Plus on devices running Android 13, we discovered an issue where some features did not work properly when connected via Bluetooth MIDI (*).

This issue only occurs on Android 13.

- We have confirmed that this issue was resolved in the March 2023 monthly update for the Google Pixel series (excluding Pixel 4/4 XL).

- For other smart devices, update status varies by manufacturer and device. Please contact your manufacturer or carrier for compatibility information.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you refrain from using the app on Android 13 until the issue is resolved.

This issue does not occur when connected via USB cable or with devices running Android OS versions up to Android 12.

(*) Using our Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter (WU-BT10).

* To use the MIDI player with the Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter (WU-BT10), your smart device must be running Android OS 8.0 or later and be Bluetooth® Low Energy compatible.
* Smart devices that display a MIDI-incompatible alert during app installation will not be able to connect to the instrument.


*1 If the app does not launch properly, try steps A or B below.
A. Delete the app's data and cache by going to Device Settings > Apps > SongBank Plus > Storage > Clear Data, then launch the app.
B. Uninstall SongBank Plus, turn off Device Settings > Google > Backup > Backup to Google Drive, and then reinstall the app.

*2 When installing this app for the first time, check to see if the message "Your device does not support MIDI" appears. If this message appears, your device does not support USB-MIDI.

*3 Please note that the LK-540 built-in songs/LK-530 built-in songs/LK-520 built-in songs/LK-515 built-in songs/LK-512 built-in songs/LK-511 built-in songs within the app cannot be transferred to the LK-540/LK-530/LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/LK-526/LK-536 devices.

*4 We have confirmed that MIDI connection-related functions do not work properly on some SHARP devices. This may be resolved by updating your device's firmware to the latest version, so please check the firmware version. For more information, please contact SHARP or your mobile phone carrier.

◆Connect to a smart device to add more songs
You can transfer songs downloaded from "SongBank Plus" to the LK-540/LK-530/LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/LK-526/LK-536. You can add your favorite songs to the built-in songs.

*To transfer song data from a smart device to the keyboard, use the included audio cable or a commercially available USB cable (A-B or C-B type). A USB cable allows for faster transfer speeds, but if you use an A-B type USB cable, you will need a USB-OTG cable (USB conversion adapter). (An audio cable is included with the LK-540/LK-530/LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511 only.)
*Please disable mobile data communication on the connected smart device, such as by setting it to airplane mode.
*Do not connect the USB cable and audio cable to the smart device at the same time.

"Song Bank Plus" offers a wide variety of songs, including Western and Japanese hits and piano pieces. There are two screen display modes.

◆Enjoy Melody Master like a game
By using a commercially available USB cable, the LK-540/LK-530/LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/LK-526/LK-536 unit and the app screen can be linked, allowing you to enjoy playing Melody Master like a game.

By using the optional Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter (WU-BT10), you can enjoy Melody Master, a game-like experience that wirelessly links the app screen with the keyboard itself (LK-540/LK-530/LK-520/LK-526/LK-536).

*Note*
When using a Bluetooth® connection, depending on the network environment and the performance of your smart device, you may experience noticeable delays or distortions in the app's lesson function. If this occurs, try the following:
- Check the app's instruction manual for instructions on how to use the lessons and MIDI playback quality.
- Connect via cable.

● Scoring function that lets you track your progress
● Recording function that lets you listen to your own performance

*Melody Master, the scoring function, and the recording function can be enjoyed using only your smart device.

*When connecting a compatible keyboard via a USB cable (A-B type or C-B type), an OTG/MIDI-compatible device is required. (Some devices may not be compatible.) If using an A-B type USB cable, a USB-OTG cable (USB conversion adapter) is required.
