Even though it's a daily habit, getting ready and dressing can take time.
They may panic when entering a different environment than usual.
Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities have difficulty following an organized routine or adapting to change.
However, these issues are simply unique characteristics that can be improved or resolved.
"Assist Guide" is an app that visualizes tasks and how to do them to support your daily activities.
Just like glasses for people with poor eyesight, it helps you see the big picture and unleash your full potential.
Simply register everyday items, photos, and illustrations with descriptions.
This app lets you see at a glance what you need to do, how to do it, where to get there, and what to bring with you for the day.
◆To-Do List
・Clearly see the order in which tasks need to be completed.
・Set alarms for time-specific tasks so you don't forget.
・The timer lets you know when you'll finish, helping you stay focused.
It's also packed with fun features that will make you want to keep getting more done!
◆How to Do It
・Easily register tasks, directions, and what to bring.
・Includes sample steps that even beginners can use right away.
・You can turn photos of everyday objects taken with your smartphone into steps.
◆For example, use it for your morning to-do list◆
Have you ever found yourself rushing to finish something before you knew it?
・Set alarms for time-specific tasks like "leaving the house" so you don't forget.
・Start a timer for "brushing your teeth in 5 minutes," and the circle's area will decrease as time passes, making it easy to follow.
・Set a goal for when you complete your morning to-do list, so you can have fun working towards it.
◆The possibilities are endless! Photo-illustrated instructions can also be used in the following situations:
- As a checklist of what to bring before leaving home
- As picture cards to express your feelings
- As a way to prepare for an unfamiliar place by creating directions
- As a support booklet to share necessary support information
