You begin the game as a bright-eyed rock magazine reporter, ready to follow the reunion tour of the Velvet Whisper. The same rock band reached a legendary status decades ago but has since then been on hiatus. Now, they are coming back together and setting off to their first venue. However, on the way there a strange woman appears in the middle of the road. In a blink of an eye, the band as well as yourself is transported to a place called only the Downbeat.
Once in the Downbeat, you will need not only fight to stay alive but also face a seemingly impossible task: freeing the band from this place of gentle horrors where countless other musicians have perished for good! Your time is running out and you feel the mist closing around you.
