By using ESHOT Mobile, you can quickly and securely reach the most relevant online information about public bus routes and stops in İzmir Metropolitan Municipality area, which are operated by ESHOT General Directorate.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF THIS MOBILE APP?
“Search” menu allows you to list the bus stops of any selected route in both directions, and shows the current stop locations of the running buses for that route. Moreover, by selecting any bus stop you can see the position information for approaching buses and list all route names passing by that stop.
You can add any bus route or stop of your choice to the favorites list, and reach those later more quickly.
Furthermore, you can set notification alarms for any time interval and bus route, which will inform you as many minutes before the nearest bus reaches at your selected bus stop as you prefer.
“Smart Card” menu allows you to query the current balance, latest boarding time, fare amount, and deposit information on your card. You can register as many as cards as you would like on your mobile device, and set an alarm that notifies you after the card balance drops below a predetermined level.
“Near” menu shows on map the nearest bus stops and card deposit/dealer points just around your current location.
“Access to POI” menu lists the corresponding bus route and stop information for the points of interest in İzmir, which are grouped in categories such as shopping, educational, accommodation, health, sports, historical, etc.
“Bus stops near your address” menu allows you to reach relevant bus stop information around a specific urban address, which may include detailed district, neighbourhood, street, building names, and apartment number data that you can enter.
Additionally, you can list all the corresponding bus lines/routes connecting to light rail, subway and ferry transport modes used in İzmir, namely İZBAN, Metro, and İzdeniz, selecting the station or pier of your choice.
