What Meteo@IPMA actually does (from store listing)
Meteo@IPMA is a free-to-use application from the Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, IPMA I.P., for mobile devices that provides weather and sea information for more than 300 locations in Portuguese territory.
This version includes a total redesign of the app that makes it easier to consult detailed and reliable weather information, of which we highlight:
- Weather status forecast up to 10 days.
- Hourly information up to the 3rd day.

This version includes a total redesign of the app that makes it easier to consult detailed and reliable weather information, of which we highlight:
- Weather status forecast up to 10 days.
- Hourly information up to the 3rd day.
- Three-hourly information from the 4th to the 6th day.
- Daily information from the 7th to the 10th day.
- Three-hourly information on the state of the sea, up to the 3rd day.
- Information regarding weather warnings.
- Information on the maximum value of the ultraviolet index.
- Predefined list of locations, selectable via menu, option, "locations".
- Update period: all information is updated in 2 periods of the day, approximately between 9 and 10 am and between 9 and 10 pm (local time on the continent).
- Time zone: time in the location where the forecast is valid.
- Units: air temperature: ºC; wind intensity: km/h; relative air humidity: %; precipitation: precipitation class; precipitation probability: %; sea water temperature: ºC; total sea: meter; ripple: meter; vacancy: metro; wave period: second.
