NorCamp is a comprehensive camping guide for Scandinavia (Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Sweden ... since 2024 also Estonia, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Lithuania), covering both well known locations as well as smaller, hidden away sites. It's an one-man project and all data is collected and maintained in cooperation with campsite owners and NorCamp users.
You can search for or show all campsites near your location on a map (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap or offline map) and get detailed information about them such as address, email, website, phone number, photos, reviews, price range and number of cabins and rooms. You can also submit reviews for a campsite, rate it, or upload photos. The project lives from the support of its users.

The following list shows which permissions are required by the app and the functions for these.
Internet: Synchronizing basic campsite data, downloading photos and reviews, working with the map
Media/Files: Caching of campsite pictures and map elements
Location: Working with the map, calculating distance to a campsite
Call: Calling a campsite within the app directly
Contacts: Adding campsites as a contact to address book
Invoice Service: In-app purchases (e.g. for advertising deactivation)
