The app shows you the news ticker in the bottom navigation at the bottom of the screen. In this view you will see every new message as soon as it is published on SZ.de in chronological order.

My articles
Find articles that you have saved using the star icon, sorted and clearly arranged in the My Articles view. The content is also available offline from this view. You can delete any entry from the list with a swipe gesture to the right. You can memorize articles using the star icon at the top of the screen for each article.

- Share and remember
Recommend our texts with a click on Facebook, Twitter or email our articles to others. You can also memorize texts so that you can read them later. Use the star icon at the top of the screen when an article is open.

- Breaking news and other push notifications
You can view breaking news as push notifications on your mobile phone at any time. If you do not want this, simply deactivate the function in the settings under the context menu on the top right.

Users can choose between important breaking news, exclusive pieces from SZ, SZ - The News of the Day, Sport, Bavaria and reports from Munich.

- Individual font size
Adjust the font size in articles as it suits you. To do this, use the settings menu at the top right of the screen.

- search
Are you looking for specific topics or articles? Use the search in the main menu at the top left. You can also use voice commands to search for the SZ.de app.

- SZ plus
On the SZ Plus page you will find the latest content from the SZ Plus area on a daily basis. Access to the entire article is reserved for subscribers only.
As a SZ Plus subscriber, you can log in to the app and then have unlimited access to all articles. You can also read all articles marked with “SZ Plus” and have access to all articles in the printed newspaper.
