WBS Lite is specially designed so you can have your phone offline and progress through courses. You can download all the content when connected to the internet. When you disconnect you can read lessons, take quizzes, read the Bible, then send your results when you connect to the internet again.

When you connect to the internet, WBS Lite is designed to be data friendly. The information transferred between you and the system and your Study Helper is secure and minimal to be affordable for your data plan.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS?

No. You can register and sign in with WhatsApp! Email is not required. You can receive notifications and communicate with your Study Helper with WhatsApp.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE WHATSAPP?

No. You can register and sign in with an email address! Although WhatsApp is not required to study the lessons, you will need WhatsApp if you want to send messages to your Study Helper.

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

Yes! When communicating using WhatsApp or providing your email, the Study Helper does not see your direct contact information because they are using our website mailbox system or in-app messaging.

HOW DO I COMMUNICATE WITH MY STUDY HELPER?

WBS Lite links to your WhatsApp account with your permission. All communication between you and your Study Helper is secured with the end-to-end WhatsApp encryption. You can easily send messages to your Study Helper and request support from the WBS team if you have any questions.

WHAT IS DOWNLOADED?

You choose how much to download. You can choose to download all courses or just a few at a time. You can choose to download all pictures or one at a time in each lesson. WBS Lite gives you an option to download the entire Bible on to your phone or a book or chapter at a time to conserve data. The app also contains helpful study notes to guide your reading of the Bible, so you learn directly from God's Word and not from man-made teaching.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

Nothing! World Bible School courses are completely FREE. The expenses for WBS are provided by the generous donations of Christians who care. They have a strong desire for students to increase their faith in God and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS A WBS “STUDY HELPER”?

A WBS Study Helper is a Christian friend who is available to help you understand the Bible as you take the WBS courses. WBS Study Helpers are everyday people like you who volunteer their time to help others. Your Study Helper will exchange lessons with you, review your lesson answers, give you feedback, help you find scriptures to answer your personal questions and be available as a prayer partner.

CAN I LEARN AT MY OWN PACE?

Learning from the Bible should be enjoyable, not a burden. There are no time limits and no schedules, so feel free to take the courses as you have time. Learn using WBS Lite, on the website or through postal mail.
