Notably: • Fair's fair: Apple subscribers can now earn referral bonus time for referring a friend, just like web and Google Play subscribers. • Transfers to a loan account with a paired category now show that category locked in from the start. • When your split total doesn't quite add up, you'll know right away! The alert now shows up just in time. • The Plan tab got way fancier under the hood. Same tab, snappier feel.

We’ve squashed some bugs and made a few improvements to make it easier than ever to get good at money. • The Add New Transaction shortcut can now pre-fill multiple split categories when opening the transaction editor. Your automation, even more automated. • If your bank connection runs into trouble and a reset is the fix, we’ll now prompt you to do it right in the app.

When you enter a new transaction manually, the editor now opens fully expanded: cleared, flag, memo, and repeat all right there from the start. We also squashed a few bugs and made some improvements. Notably: - Fixed a bug where tapping Done in the memo field was inserting a line break instead of saving. Now it saves, regardless of where your cursor is. - Math in the amount field now calculates as soon as you move on—no need to tap the equal key first. - Covering overspending is faster and snappier! We tightened up the animation timing so you can move through multiple categories without waiting.

We’ve got a few more quietly satisfying upgrades to transaction entry this week! Inflows that import to checking, savings, or cash accounts already default to Ready to Assign. Now manually entered transactions will, too! We made the animation clearer so that when you record credit spending, the movement of money  from your spending category to your Credit Card Payment category is even clearer.  And splits in the new transaction editor got a little less fiddly: you can now add a transfer leg to a split with just one category, so things like a grocery run with a little cash back no longer need a throwaway placeholder.

The transaction editor on iOS has a fresh new look that makes the type of transaction instantly clear, payments and transfers more intuitive, and imported credit card payment matching automatic. No more brain teasers—is this payment an inflow or outflow? Are transfers one or two transactions? Is anything even real? We can't answer all of life’s great mysteries, but hopefully this frees up some space so your brain is free for the questions that actually matter.
